AITuber ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered video creation platform.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Generate AI-powered videos based on your content

3. AI and Machine Learning
AITuber uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models to generate videos. Your content may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and others) to deliver our services. We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. YouTube API Services
AITuber uses YouTube API Services to enable you to publish videos directly to your YouTube channel. By connecting your YouTube account to AITuber, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
4.1 Data We Access from YouTube
When you connect your YouTube channel, we access and store the following information:
- Your YouTube channel ID and name
- Channel thumbnail/profile picture URL
- Subscriber count (for display purposes only)
- OAuth refresh tokens (to maintain your connection)
4.2 How We Use YouTube Data
We use the YouTube data we collect exclusively to:
- Display your connected YouTube channel(s) in your dashboard
- Upload videos you create to your YouTube channel on your behalf
- Schedule video publications to your YouTube channel
- Show the status of your YouTube video uploads
We do not use your YouTube data for any purpose other than providing the publishing features you explicitly request. We do not sell, share, or transfer your YouTube data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service (e.g., using Google's APIs to upload videos).
4.3 OAuth Token Storage and Security
Your YouTube OAuth credentials are stored securely in our encrypted database. We use industry-standard encryption for all stored tokens. Access tokens are short-lived and automatically refreshed using your securely stored refresh token. We never store your Google/YouTube password.
4.4 Revoking YouTube Access
You can disconnect your YouTube channel from AITuber at any time by:
- Using the "Disconnect" button in your AITuber dashboard under Publish → Channels
- Revoking access directly through your Google Account security settings
When you disconnect your YouTube channel, we immediately delete your OAuth tokens and channel data from our systems. Previously uploaded videos will remain on YouTube unless you delete them directly from YouTube.
4.5 YouTube Data Retention
We retain your YouTube channel data and OAuth tokens only while your channel remains connected to AITuber. Publication records (video title, upload status, YouTube video URL) are retained for your reference until you delete your AITuber account. Upon account deletion, all YouTube-related data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
5. Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure cloud storage with reputable providers
- Regular security audits and monitoring
- Access controls and authentication mechanisms
However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (payment processing, cloud hosting, AI model providers, analytics)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and safety
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Generated videos are stored for 30 days by default, after which they may be deleted unless you save them. Account data is retained until you request deletion.
